Internet connection
Before setting up the live stream, be sure you have a stable and fast internet connection. You may check it on your device using any speed test apps. Here is the one you may use. To get advanced metrics like Upload speed, use the app.
Important! Test the internet speed at the location where you plan to have a live stream. The speed should be at least 5Mbps for upload. Check examples of good internet speed with different connections below.

Do your best to find the most stable connection to stream your show in HD (720p) or Full HD (1080p) quality.
Setting up
Go to your online event campaign page and click on Live stream icon and choose Setup stream. This is your livestream studio. Here you can set up and edit your online event.
Important! We strongly advise to have a soundcheck before you go live for the very first time to eliminate any tech issues. Read more how to soundcheck and clear up a test video here. Once it is done, go next.
Now, let's set up the stream. Add a cover image of the stream by choosing the camera icon.
To schedule the event and add a countdown timer tick the checkbox next to Schedule.
Set date and time when the event starts.
Stream URL
Go to Stream Settings and copy your Stream server link. Add a slash “/” at the end of the Stream server link. Next, copy the Stream key and add it after the slash “/” to combine Stream server link and your stream key into a single link.
Example
Stream server URL: rtmp://rtmp.show4me.com/tt9b7qc1ecbbd077
Stream key: ulgj01ymzgi8mhpn5p7jxg77
Add a slash / between them, and you’ve got your Stream URL. Like this: rtmp://rtmp.show4me.com/tt9b7qc1ecbbd077/ulgj01ymzgi8mhpn5p7jxg77
Stream App
Next, go to App Store, find and install any livestreaming app that supports RTMP protocol. We advise to use Larix Broadcaster as it is free and stable app.
Once installed, open the app and tap the Gear icon for Setting.
In the Settings menu, tap Connections, then – New connection.
Name your video stream (use the title from your online event campaign on Show4me).
For URL, paste the Stream URL you’ve created in the previous steps on Show4me website using the Stream server link and Stream Key and tap Save.
Now, your link should appear in Settings.
Advice: Check Setting in the app to be sure you made the most of it.
Video: Adjust video size, we recommend to stream in 1920x1080. FPS - 30 fixed rate. Bitrate 4000-6000 Kbps, depending on your internet speed.
Audio: Adjust it if you are using external mic/audio source or you want to change audio bitrate or sample rate.
Also, you may record video and audio of the stream to you iPhone, just tap the checkbox with this feature in Settings.
After, return to the app home screen and press Red button to start your steam.
Wait around 10-20 seconds to see the video from your cell iPhone. You are in a Preview mode, so nobody can see your preparations and soundcheck.
Add stream
Go to Show4me and click on the Finish Setup button.
Click Save.
Once the stream is added to the concert campaign page, the Play button appears.
Go live
To start your stream, tap the red button in the app, then go to Show4me website, wait 10-15 seconds (or click Play on the video) to see the picture, tick the checkbox and click the Go button, respectively. If the picture doesn’t appear, you will need to refresh the page.
To be sure you are live and fans can see you, check the status of the stream above the video frame.
Stop streaming
When the event is over, click on Stop button on Show4me and red button in the app. Be sure to confirm that you want to stop the stream on Show4me.
