Tickets
On the Tickets page, start with the event admission type. You can choose between Paid, Free and Donations. Paid means that people can access the event once they bought tickets. Free is actually free access admission. Here fans have to sign up on Show4me to get a free ticket. Donations is a paid admission type where you can set the minimum ticket price, so people can pay any higher to access the event. So let’s choose the Paid one.
Next, check the currency for the tickets. It was automatically set according to your country of residence, so you can’t change it. This is the currency of your future payout as tickets will be sold in Credits which are Show4me’s internal items used to get access to digital content. Fans can buy the Credit bundles and use them to get tickets to your event.
Next, you can choose whether you want to show how many tickets are left on sale to fans or not.
Now let’s create the first ticket. Click the Add ticket button. In the pop-up window add a ticket type title (e.g. General Admission) and ticket type description (e.g.This ticket allows you to access the event). Below, there is a Visibility field. If you want to start selling this ticket type right after the event approval, set it as Visible. If you want to create a ticket type and sell it later, set it as Hidden. It means that later, you can switch its visibility to visible and start selling it.
Next, you can choose between a limited and unlimited number of tickets. If it is limited, set the number of tickets for this ticket type.
Next, set the ticket price you want. Below you can see the amount (excluding VAT) in fiat money and Credits. The amount in fiat money, meaning usual currency like USD / EUR / GBP, is shown to you only, so you know the ticket total price to fans excluding VAT. The amount shown in Credits is the total amount to fans. The Service fee and Processing fee will be added on top of the ticket price by default, so you will get 100% of the amount you set. If you mark the checkbox “Absorb fees: ticketing fees will be deducted from your revenue” it means that fans will pay the price you set but you will get less revenue.
Also, if your ticket contains any physical item, e.g. t-shirt, vinyl, etc., check the box that says “This ticket contains physical goods”. This will lower the total price for fans who use the IOS app.
Once the ticket type is ready, click “Done”. If you need more tickets, click “Add ticket”. Below you can see the overall info on the ticket types you have created. Once everything is set, click Next.
