Live stream is all about a high quality picture and sound. Try to find or rent good equipment, set the light, connect all your music instruments via a sound card, etc.
Internet
Be sure you have a stable and fast internet connection. You may check it on your device using any speed test apps. Here is the one you may use.
Important! Test the internet speed at the location where you plan to have a live stream. The speed should be at least 5Mbps for upload. Check examples of good internet speed with different connections below.
Example of 4G connection
Example of WIFI/wired connection
Do your best to find the most stable connection to stream your show in HD (720p) or Full HD (1080p) quality.
Video
Check your external (DSLR/SLR/WEB) or internal camera settings. The video filmed with a laptop camera is unsuitable, since the laptop camera sensors do not provide the needed quality even with the maximum resolution; with the video in the results having negative effects such as: fps lags, grainy and blurred image etc.
For the best quality use the following specifications:
- Video must be filmed with 2 cameras to have different angles
- Each camera should be used with a tripod, without any shakes or unwanted camera movements.
- Resolution must be FULL HD 1920x1080p.
- FPS - 30 fixed rate
This is only recommendations, you may use any cameras with any settings.
Also, check what setting you have on your streaming software. To check it on OBS, go to Settings and choose Video.
To set the bitrate, encoder, rate control, and other, go to Settings > Output and choose Streaming. Recommended bitrate is 4000-6000 Kbps, depending on your internet speed. After all changes are done, click Apply and Ok.
Important! You may edit the above-mentioned settings only before you start streaming.
Audio
Check your internal or external audio interface settings. Adjust gain, volume and other settings. Find a guide on how to connect external audio interface to OBS here.
Also, check what setting you have on your streaming software. To check it on OBS, go to Settings and choose Audio.
Edit this if you know what to do. Otherwise, it will be more than enough to use default settings.
Angle
In terms of angles there should be at least two angles, a wide angle and a close up as presented in the pictures below.

If you have one camera, it's ok. Read how make your picture more vivid next.
Stage
Any place can be a stage for your performance. You just need to find an appropriate one. It's not good to perform in front of a wall, there should be depth/space behind you. You should keep this in mind since the background is as important as the artist. Check examples below.
